The Brambila Method-Just Do It!
Is my Dad mission to be financially free, possible?
The Jury is still out on this but as you can see from the sentiment above, making sure you're as well prepared or informed as you can be, is fairly vital.
Trying to launch a number of side hustles that could result in financial and therefore total time freedom must also mean surrounding myself with the right kind of supportive and like minded people.
What sort of supportive places?
e.g A Facebook group that's full of entrepreneurial, open minded type people committed to improving their lives under their own steam.
At the right time?
We are living through a fairly unique time in History, where more and more people are wanting to walk away from the 9 to 5 choosing to find alternative ways to work.
If you can put yourself in the right place at the right time then there are definitely people that will want to help, because it's in their nature to do so and they share similar goals.
It always needs to be a mutually beneficial situation and hopefully me talking to other Brambila Methoders in a podcast will prove that.
I'm yet to break even on my $97 investment but I have every faith that by learning these new skills, being on this path and working with other people with similar goals has vastly increased the chances of it being WHEN not IF.
Presently the magic number is $93 in the red. Thanks to a Fiverr gig
That said, can you put a value on having the right kind of supportive people around you,no I'm not sure you can.If you could I'm fairly sure it would be more than $93.
For the reasons I have previously mentioned even the most hardened and committed of side hustlers must surely need support from like minded people to drag themselves through the disappointments sometimes.
I posted this message on the Brambila Method private Facebook group asking if anyone might be up for being interviewed about how they are getting on having done the course.
A lot of the course content in the Brambila course was familiar to me so I think what attracted me specifically to the Bambila Method which, absolutely no disrespect to a course full of relevant information but information that I'm sure if you searched hard enough you could actually find on your own,the interest for me was the full transparency of Adrian.
Ultimately what I invested in was Adrian and his skills to teach me what he know's so that hopefully we can get to a financial situation closer to his.
It's the same reason I have chosen to learn Brazilian Jui Jitsu from an actual European Champion as opposed to that bloke down the pub whose always telling you about the time he got set upon by a gang bikers and fought them off using whatever martial art you do.
Adrian frequently reminds me that this is going to be hard work. I was and still am under no illusion that the level of my success is in direct correlation with the amount and quality of work I put in.
I have noticed over the past few years (on various social media platforms) that the same hunger for success in evident but there now seems to be a premium on honesty and integrity as opposed to posturing.
I'm not scared of the hard work and if anything the more honest I feel someone is being about an opportunity the more interest and value I will place on it.
As the sun goes down on the air brushed Instagram world of charlatans standing in front of private jets they don't own,the sun is rising on platforms like Tik Tok where people are letting you into their World's warts and all.
Here is a parody song I did on Snap's Rythm is a dancer that I think underlines the importance of realising that looking for short cuts and hoping for luck or acts of god is a pointless exercise.
I got this idea while listening to a recent webinar of Adrian's of The Brambila Method fame.I'm trying to improve my blog writing skills to hopefully get more gigs, okay a gig,🤣 on Fiverr.
I have started this blog not only to document my journey from exhausted slave to the 9 to 5 dad, to hopefully, financially free dad.I'd also like,if possible, to use it as a vehicle to promote and support other Brambila people.
Therefore if you would be interested in being interviewed by me either on video via zoom or editorial please let me know.
Have a great day.
Love James
