The Brambila Method-Just pick a lane? Who's Elaine?
The plan to financial freedom sounds simple! Start some income streams, keep working on them until one shows itself to be a winner. If one does then triple down on it and keep digging that 2 inch wide hole until it becomes several miles deep etc.
The only problem with that is, what do you do when it's been months of work and there are still no leads,no orders, no sales,no holes, certainly none 2 inch wide and miles deep!
The only thing to do,I imagine, is keep sowing those seeds, try not to lose faith and keep on digging until you have that winner.
It's been 3 months since I finished the Brambila Course so it's probably 12 to 24 months too soon to be expecting to be able to hand my notice in.Perhaps the fact that my Fiverr account has actually made something would make it the obvious hustle to focus on?
Focussing on what is actually making money (even if it's buttons to start with) stops me being tempted to flit from fad to fad.
The ego driven desire to go viral and delusion of thinking that getting a few thousand strangers to like a post of me lip syncing a song with a funny wig on is the ideal foundation to build a lucrative business on.
Yesterday I picked up another 2 Fiverr jobs, one of which is worth $100!
I never thought there would be a demand for ukulele themed voice over jingles but apparently, there is,albeit a small one.I think if you can create hustles you actually enjoy or just don't mind doing, then if and when it make you something it will start to feel even less like work.
That said there is also the harsh reality that I still haven't sold any Redbubble design (I'm about 221 designs in) or any Journals (I've created about 50 so far) an e-book or e course,or made anything from 3 affiliate links.
Should I even be trying to sell a mug if the reward is $0.29? My ego would says.....
"Yes,of course you should. You're a comedy legend. The whole world will definitely find your mugs with a fart joke on amusing enough to buy one maybe 10!"
My higher self would say "No!" It might even go on to say....
"If you can't see the obvious winner between a 29 cent return for a journal that took you an hour to create and a $100 advert for a Tik Tok page that took you half the time to create then not only do you need to review the Brambila course content but probably also the 1st 4 years of primary education!"
Are all social platforms created equal? If it's based on the effort it takes to get a youtube subscriber compared to Tik Tok follower I would argue no?
Is it all to do with the life cycle of the platform itself? Maybe in the early days of Youtube a grainy, shaky, 10 second clip of a cat falling off a table would grab you a few thousand subscribers, where as now, 1-2 views?
With that in mind click here is you know anyone who might want to hire me to try and make someone smile?
James
I got this idea while listening to a recent webinar of Adrian's of The Brambila Method fame.I'm trying to improve my blog writing skills to hopefully get more gigs, okay get a 6th gig,🤣 on Fiverr.
I have started this blog not only to document my journey from exhausted slave to the 9 to 5 dad, to hopefully, financially free dad.I'd also like,if possible, to use it as a vehicle to promote and support other Brambila people.
Therefore if you would be interested in being interviewed by me either on video via zoom or editorial please let me know.
Have a great day.
Love James
