The Brambila Method-The most rewarding 16p ever earnt!
I can't believe it! Finally, I've sold something on Redbubble!
Although I try to do my best to keep my vocal imposter syndrome as quiet as possible it did pose an interesting question.
Who is the best person to create an online stress management course? Is it...
1) Someone who doesn't struggle with stress much themselves but understands the concept and has studied the techniques that seem to be the most effective?
OR
In my case, someone who has struggled with mental health on and off for years and therefore had to find and learn effective strategies I could incorporate into my life? Well I obviously think it's the latter or I wouldn't have created a course about it.
One perspective I have heard by Jordan Peterson in regards to...
"When are you ready to market you skills to the World?"
Do you just start and prepare yourself for working for free in exchange for experience for a few years?
Whatever you decide, I think starting something, anything seems to be something that is collectively agreed.
You have to start, even if 4 months in you realise that whatever it is you've embarked on is not what you want to do.The landscape will look different and your perspective will be clearer that it did 4 months previously.
I think that success is more about trying and learning along the way.Being open to having your mind changed and then eliminating things you know you don't want to do or be.
I feel this is preferable to studying the concept of something that might interest you, starting it and saying
"Well,I have to stick with this because I have studied it and I said I would be an mobile dog nanny!"
Changing your mind is allowed and it can be good for you, if you don't feel something is what you hoped it would be.No one is keeping score and life is too short to prioritize anyone else's happiness and expectations above your own.
Just start, expect set backs,re adjust and keep going.
Good luck
Wherever you are in the World I hope you're doing okay.
James
I got this idea while listening to a recent webinar of Adrian's of The Brambila Method fame.I'm trying to improve my blog writing skills to hopefully get more gigs, okay get a gig,🤣 on Fiverr.
I have started this blog not only to document my journey from exhausted slave to the 9 to 5 dad, to hopefully, financially free dad.I'd also like,if possible, to use it as a vehicle to promote and support other Brambila people.
Therefore if you would be interested in being interviewed by me either on video via zoom or editorial please let me know.
Have a great day.
Love James
